During our pre-installation survey and risk assessment, we will:

• Evaluate the layout of your home or business to identify specific requirements and vulnerabilities. This allows us to create a system that ensures maximum coverage and addresses blind spots or high-risk areas, regardless of the size or purpose of your property. 

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements. A pre-installation assessment from our professional surveyors guarantees that your intruder alarm system is graded correctly for your insurance policy, whether your property is low, medium or high-risk. If the system installed does not meet the specific conditions outlined by your provider, such as being professionally monitored, including a police response, or being certificated to PD6662, BS EN 50131, or BS8243, they may refuse to pay out in the event of a claim. 

• Explore how you would like to interact with your system. We work with leading intruder alarm manufacturers, including HKC, Scantronic, Texecom and Honeywell Galaxy, which enables us to devise a system that can be conveniently accessed via an easy-to-use mobile app. This means that you will be able to set, unset and receive real-time notifications via your smartphone, as well as switch lights on and off and see who’s inside or outside your building from your device. In some cases, we may even be able to integrate your intruder alarm with an existing CCTV, fire detection, or access control system for even greater security. 

• Help reduce false alarms. Poorly planned systems are often responsible for false alarms, which can prove irksome to neighbours or surrounding businesses and may even lead to the withdrawal of your police response. Clear Sound Fire & Security’s professional surveyors will consider your property’s environmental factors (pets, heating systems, shrubbery, etc.) when selecting the equipment that makes up your system and choosing how this is positioned in the final installation.
